It gives you all the nutrients you require. Protein supplements that help you grow and protein supplements that help you lose weight are available in this article.
QUEST NUTRITION QUEST PROTEIN POWDER
Quest nutrition quest protein powder is one of the most underappreciated protein supplements on the market. I honestly believe that it should be considered one of the best protein supplements in the world. This 24-gram whey protein isolate supplement helps you build muscle. It is made from the highest-quality protein sources available. There are also 110 calories in it. This is an adequate amount of calories.
Quest Nutrition is unique in its own way. It is a special blend of full dairy-based protein isolates. It also contains whey protein isolate that can be quickly absorbed. Look for protein shakes that are easier to absorb because they are less likely to cause stomach problems. Quest Nutrition is excellent as a pre-or post-workout smoothie. It’s also a good meal replacement.
FIND OUT MORE ABOUT QUEST NUTRITION PROTEIN POWDER
People will gravitate towards Quest nutrition because of its rich creamy flavour. It almost tastes like you’re sipping on a milkshake. The three flavours available are chocolate milkshake, peanut butter milkshake, and vanilla milkshake. These are actually the most prevalent protein shake flavours.
It is beneficial to both those who are trying to gain weight and those who are trying to lose weight. If you’re trying to lose weight, be sure you follow the directions on the packaging. I say this because if you overdo it, you will end up gaining weight instead of losing weight. You can also use this protein supplement for baking. There aren’t many protein powders that can be used in baking, thus this is a unique feature of this product. It’s also reasonably priced and will last approximately a month.
Quest nutrition weighs about 31 grams per scoop and comes in a container with about 45 scoops. This is fantastic because you’re only supposed to take one scoop per day, so it will last you longer than a month. The most popular ingredients in this shake are milk and peanuts. If you are allergic to both milk and peanuts, I strongly advise you to avoid this protein shake.
BSN SYNTHA-6 WHEY PROTEIN POWDER
BSN Syntha-6 Whey Protein Powder is another protein drink that I consider to be one of the best protein supplements. This is because it contains six different protein sources, all of which help with muscle building and recuperation. It also helps you perform better in the gym. This should actually be the standard product for everyone. Let me explain why.
Protein smoothies with six distinct protein sources are unusually hard to come by. This protein supplement impresses me tremendously. Although it only has 22 grams of protein, it is still beneficial. This protein supplement can be consumed whether you are attempting to gain or reduce weight. All that is required of you is that you be an active individual. What I mean by being active is going to the gym or going for a run.
BSN Syntha-6 will help you gain muscle mass and lean muscle mass. It will also help you perform better in sports. This protein supplement is safe to consume if you participate in sports. It is not considered an illegal substance. It is regarded as one of the best-tasting protein powders because of its unique flavour technology.
This protein supplement has a total fat content of 6 grams, 2 grams of saturated fat, and 15 grams of carbohydrates. Last but not least, it comes in a variety of flavours. The most popular flavour is mint chocolate.
OPTIMUM NUTRITION SERIOUS MASS
I consider this product supplement to be one of the best protein supplements on the market because it will get you genuinely huge. This protein smoothie was made with muscle mass in mind. It has a protein content of 50 grams and a calorie content of 1 250 grams. That’s quite a calorie intake! If you’re attempting to lose weight, you should avoid this protein drink at all costs.
Optimum nutrition serious mass is a weight-gain supplement that contains 25 different vitamins and critical minerals. Each serving contains 3 grams of creatine monohydrate. You can take this protein supplement before a workout to fuel you for an intense session. I would not advise you to go this route though. Make sure you have two scoops every day. You can also use it as a meal replacement in between meals.
There are 4.5 grams of total fat, 2.5 grams of saturated fat, and 252 grams of carbs in every serving. If you’re serious about building muscle mass, this should tell you how effective this protein supplement will be. This is why it is called optimum nutrition serious mass. My favorite flavours in this protein shake are chocolate and strawberry. I actually like anything that has to do with chocolate.
The effectiveness of this protein supplement astounded me. It is without a doubt one of the best protein supplements available. During my bulking phase, I was completely unaware of this product. If I had known about this, I would have ordered one immediately. However, you still have time. I would definitely advise you to purchase one if you are just starting off on your bulking quest. It will be of great assistance to you.
OTHER EFFECTIVE PROTEIN SUPPLEMENTS
I could go on and on about the best protein supplements available. There are simply too many to discuss in depth. This is why I’ve compiled a list of protein supplements about which I didn’t go into detail. These protein shakes are just as wonderful as the ones described before, in my opinion. Give them a shot.
Here is a list of protein supplements I did not mention above:
- Casein protein powder.
- Vital protein collagen peptides.
- Ladder whey protein powder.
- Anthony’s premium pea protein.
- Ora organic vegan protein powder.
- Naked nutrition egg white protein.
- Vega protein and greens.
If you have any questions, please leave them in the comment section and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
I am curious why you advise against using Optimum Nutrition Serious Mass before a workout session?
Also, do you have any experience using Boost? How does Boost compare to some of the supplements that you have overviewed here? I have heard some complaints recently that Boost has had a price point increase, which has inconvenienced some users.
Reason being is this protein shake helps build muscle and repairs it after an intense workout session. So I feel like there will be no point in drinking it before a session.
No I do not have any experience using boost. I actually have not heard of it but I will do my research and get back to you on that topic. Thank you for your feedback.
The review given on these products is very useful. Especially for someone like me that needs to drop a pound to two here and there. Nonetheless, Quest would have to be my go to because I also need to loss weight. Since I am not a vanilla person, the chocolate and peanut butter flavors would have to work for me. Thanks for the information and breakdown.
You should definitely go and get yourself one. You will be jubilant with the results.
Hi Daniel. Thank you for very interesting article. When I started more serious trainings I started to look for some good protein supplements, but its not easy to choose good product with so many options on market. I tried few but to be fair I wasn’t fully satisfied with quality. But looking on your post Quest nutrition seems perfect for me. Its natural, contains all necessary supplements and price is really reasonable. Can’t wait to test it in practice !
Do test it out and let me know what you think. I can guarantee you that you will see results if you also just remain consistent in the gym.
These all sound like excellent protein powders. They’re made from healthy sources of protein and have enough calories to be filling. They’re also available in a variety of flavors. BSN Syntha-6 offers a lot of flavors. Mint chocolate chip and strawberry milkshake both sound like they would be well worth trying.
You should definitely give them a try! Trust me, you will not regret it.
I think I will try out the quest nutrition protein powder. That is the one that really stood out for me!
Do that! I am sure that you will love it.
Hi Daniel, good information. I would like to know what you think about a protein supplement for someone who is older. I currently use a plant based protein because I’m allergic to dairy. I’m more interested in maximum nutrition than building muscle.
My doctor is not much help and doesn’t seem to know much about nutrition or vitamins. I would appreciate your thoughts.
Myron
Protein supplements does not come with age. Anyone, well anyone over the age of 18 can use it. Since you are interested in maximum nutrition over building muscle, plant based protein powders are perfect for you. They will definitely get the job done.
I really have never thought too much of the benefits of protein supplements as I always considered them just expensive milkshakes but you’ve opened my eyes. I can see now there are a lot of benefits to be had if you are working out every day and need to build healthy muscle. I agree with you that the Atkins brand is underrated as it is an excellent company and their products have been well researched.
I can tell you now, protein supplements will change your life! You will get to your dream body faster than usual. Try to incorporate protein shakes into your every day life.
Hey, Daniel,
I’m new to this protein supplement world. There are so many choices that it becomes overwhelming.
In my case, I’m starting to work out, and my main goal is to lose weight. Which supplement would you recommend? Based on your review, I’m inclined toward the Quest nutrition powder. I love shakes, and I think it would be a great way to consume the protein amount my body needs.
Looking forward to your reply. Thanks for sharing.
Yes, quest nutrition powder would be perfect for weight loss. Just ensure that you are consistent in the gym and you will be all good.
Thank you for the great article about the different protein powers. I use them for weight loss and like to switch up the flavors and products so thank you, thank you, thank for for the heads up about the OPTIMUM NUTRITION SERIOUS MASS. Over 1250 calories OMG! That’s huge. Like two days worth of calories when I’m dieting.
Thank you for your feedback! I truly appreciate it.
Thank you for sharing some best protein supplements. Are all of protein supplements just good to gain weight? And how does it help lose weight? I always thought protein just build muscle and nothing else. Any tips I will appreciate. As I need a good body for my future wife.
No, some protein supplements are just for muscle recovery and some are for weight loss.
If you’re trying to lose weight or manage your weight, extra protein from shakes may help you feel less hungry, help you maintain muscle and metabolism, and lower the likelihood of regaining the lost fat, especially when combined with an exercise routine.
Thanks for another informative article!
I have a few questions for you:
1. Do you have a specific protein supplement that you use regularly?
2. What type of diet do you eat regularly while taking a protein supplement?
3. Have any supplements interfered with your sleep or digestion negatively?
4. What is your favorite thing about diet and fitness, besides getting results, of course!
5. How have supplements improved your life?
1. I use the optimum nutrition gold standard regularly.
2. I am on a lean muscle journey so I eat a high protein meal that is also low in carbs.
3. Not at all.
4. It ensures that you I will live a longer life and it just makes me feel more energized.
5. It has helped me get my ideal body faster than I expected.
Well done my friend.
I’ve read like 3 or 4 articles and may be I’ll be reading another one more.
The thing is that the more I read your posts the more I’m learning and getting real value from your articles
Would you recommend vegan or whey? Is there another sub category of protein powders out there?
Thank you for your feedback!
It honestly depends on you. If you are a vegan then I would recommend a vegan protein shake but if you are not a vegan then whey would be just fine. Yes, there is a whey isolate and a whey concentrate. My personal favorite is a whey isolate.
Dear Daniel,
It is very nice to meet you. I pray you are doing well amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
Looks like you sound like my husband, even he began working out more at the gym and taking on protein supplements too.
I can say that he looks buff like a hunk too. He has improved a great deal his physique.
I am happy to see that vitamins are pretty abundant in these protein supplements too.
Have you heard of Complan or Nido? Would you say they are good to use also?
~Angel
I am doing well thanks and yourself? I have never heard of it but I will do my research on it.
I really enjoy protein. However, I had never considered taking a protein supplement, such as a pill, before. I do, however, use the shakes because they are tasty. Premier protein and optimum protein are two of my favorites. But I’m always on the lookout for new brands. Vanilla is my favorite because I can use it in anything, such as smoothies or coffee. Do you ever mix your protein with something else?
I only mix my protein with either water or milk. You can although make your very own milkshake by adding fruits.
Thanks for yet another very educational articles here. These supplements are something that i haveonly really started looking into and have learned quite a lot about them from your resouce packed website here. So thanks once again for sharing this. I hope to start getting some of these protein shakes soon.
I am glad I could help you out. Thank you for your feedback.
Hello, Daniel thank you for the detailed review on protein supplements. I found your review very helpful in my research of finding the best protein supplements because I don’t consume enough protein in my food. Most proteins are found in fish, and I do not eat fish. I will be bookmarking your review for easy access.
Thank you for your feedback. I am glad I could help you out.
