I am sure many of you are familiar with pure protein smoothies, but did you know that there is also a pure protein bar? As time goes on, more and more protein companies are expanding their product lines to include protein bars. This, in my opinion, is a good technique. They will be able to stay current and attract more clients if they do so. Pure Protein saw this and expanded its product line to include a pure protein bar.
WHAT MAKES PURE PROTEIN BARS DIFFERENT?
The pure protein bar, like the pure protein smoothies, is simple to ingest and available when you are. You only need to grab one from your pantry, open the package, and you’re ready to go. It also comes in a variety of flavors, which I like. There are several protein bars on the market, all of which come in a variety of flavors, but pure protein bars outperform them all.
The flavors it comes in include:
- Chocolate deluxe.
- Chocolate peanut butter.
- Chewy chocolate chip.
- Chocolate salted caramel.
- Lemon cake.
- Birthday cake.
- Chocolate dough.
- Chocolate caramel.
- Peanut buttercup.
- Chocolate peanut caramel.
This is what distinguishes pure protein bars from their rivals. Another feature that distinguishes pure protein bars from the competition is the fact that they only come in a variety of packs. There are several alternatives available in this variety pack. This is done to meet the demands of everyone.
The variety pack is available in four different styles. The regular variety pack, the desert variety pack, the guilt-free variety pack, and the peanut butter-loving variety pack are all available. Given that I occasionally indulge in guilty pleasures, I would start with the variety pack of guilty pleasures.
NUTRITIONAL CONTENT
Before buying a protein bar or a protein smoothie, the first and most obvious aspect a person would look at is the amount of protein it contains. If this isn’t the first thing you look at, you are essentially denying yourself the opportunity to consume a high-protein bar or shake.
When it comes to pure protein bars, the amount of protein in each taste varies. It has a protein content ranging from 19 to 21 grams. If you do not care about taste and just want to obtain as much protein as possible, I would recommend trying the chocolate deluxe flavor, which has the most protein (21 grams). Try to avoid the salted caramel flavor as it only contains 19 grams of protein.
The amount of calories it contains is the next item you should consider. If you are one of those people who are concerned about their calorie intake and try to stick to a daily calorie target, you should pay close attention to the pure protein purchase you make.
The calorie content varies between 180 and 200 grams of calories per serving. This is entirely dependent on the taste you choose. The chocolate deluxe is a great option if you are looking for a pure protein bar with as few calories as possible. There are only 180 calories in it.
Try the chocolate peanut butter, chewy chocolate chip, and birthday cake flavors if you are looking for a flavor with a lot of calories. The chocolate salted caramel and the peanut butter cup are also worth trying. They all have 200 grams of calories in them, which is more than enough to meet your daily calorie need.
TOO MUCH SUGAR IS BAD FOR YOU
Protein bars have a tendency to become exceedingly sweet. This is due to the fact that they are a type of candy, and candies are known to be sweet. When it comes to pure protein bars, the sugar content ranges from 2 to 5 grams of sugar per bar. 5 grams of sugar is far too excessive and should be avoided at all costs.
Stick with the chocolate peanut butter, lemon cake, and chocolate peanut caramel flavors if you do not want to eat a high-sugar pure protein bar. They only have 2 grams of sugar in them, which is a very low amount. Avoid the peanut butter cup flavor if at all possible. It has 5 grams of sugar in it, which is absurd.
Protein bars are frequently consumed first thing in the morning by people who feel they will provide them with all of the energy they require for the day ahead. This is a false statement. This is not something you would associate with a protein bar. Stick to an energy bar if you are seeking a bar that will provide you with all the energy you will need for the day.
The difference between a protein bar and an energy bar is significant. Following an exercise is the perfect time to eat your pure protein bar. Your muscles are torn down after an exercise, and they require as much protein as possible. A pure protein bar will be able to heal and rebuild more quickly as a result of this.
STICK TO A HIGH-PROTEIN DIET
This is something I have always said and will continue to say. Individuals should consume a high-protein diet. This means you should eat your fish, meat, eggs, and beans, as well as drink your protein shake and eat your protein bars. After a few months of constant exercise, you will only be able to observe any improvements in your physique if you do it in this manner.

These look so tasty they seem like a good motivator for me to get back on a regular exercise routine again (since chasing kids around is not exactly a regimented routine)! Of course many of them would be high in sugar, too bad! That being said I am glad you highlighted the ones with lower amounts of sugar. I wonder if the bars are better or worse at delivering protein than the shakes, or about the same? I used to do the shakes years ago when I worked out while in the military overseas but I cannot even remember what brand I used then. They are more or less the same. They contain round about the same amount of protein.
Hey there, I think this concept of protein intake works great when it comes in disguise of tasty food like bars or smoothies as you mentioned. I had a great experience when I started working out at the age of 20 especially if you are very specific in counting your nutrition daily.
Proteins are important aspect when it comes to muscle building as it gives muscular growth to your body by boosting the male hormone- testosterone in your body. Most certainly. I would recommend that you try out protein shakes. It will benefit you a lot. This recommendation was purely based on the product itself. The amount of protein it contains and the amount of calories that is found in the protein bar.
I used protein shakes for a long time, still doing it by the way. Now, protein bars are very good standalone protein sources – the only thing I didn’t like is the amount of sugar.
Now, I saw 3 flavors you included which didn’t had to many sugars – I will check them out!

I love these bars. They taste good and they aren’t too sweet, the bars are delicious and they have the most protein of any bars I’ve seen, helps to curve my appetite. They work well for a snack or a small breakfast. I have tried a lot of different protein bars in my day and I have found that these are the best all around.

Protein bars can be such a beneficial addition to your diet, I see them as a snack, or maybe even dessert.
But as you’ve written they can be packed with sugar, and more expensive than cholocate. Finding the good one with a high amount of protein is crucial, thanks for that.

These protein bars look great. Generally, I will have a protein bar as a substitute for a meal. So the calorie count doesn’t really concern me. I also eat plenty of protein in my meals, so the protein the bars have is probably perfect for me. I don’t like a chalky taste though, so I will probably stay away from the chocolate deluxe one. So for the most part, the other flavors are not chalky tasting?
They are not chalky tasing so you are good to go.
I like protein bars and have tried a lot of different brands. I have not tried Pure Protein Bars but will check them out. I wish they had a variety pack with all the flavors to try. One thing I don’t like about variety packs is they will put 3-4 flavors in them and then you’re stuck with one you don’t like. You keep buying the packs and end up with more and more of the flavor you don’t care for while you eat the ones you do. It would be great if they had a build your own variety pack.
