These protein shakes are for all my chocolate fans. Protein shakes are convenient because they come in a variety of flavours. This is simply to make room for everyone. Individuals have varied tastes and like different things, which is why there are so many diverse flavours. My favorite flavour is chocolate whey protein powder. I am a chocoholic, therefore anything involving chocolate appeals to me. Listed here are some of the best chocolate whey protein powders on the market.
BODY FORTRESS SUPER ADVANCED WHEY PROTEIN POWDER
The body fortress super advanced whey protein powder is first on my list of chocolate whey protein powders. I know a lot of you haven’t heard of this protein powder, but it’s one of the best on the market, and Amazon recommends it highly. The chocolate flavour is incredible. It is gluten-free and has 60 grams of protein in it! I can’t emphasize how important 60 grams of protein are. Let me give you a thought. The majority of protein powders have a protein content of 25-30 grams on average. This should suffice to demonstrate the effectiveness of body fortress super advanced whey protein powder.
This chocolate protein shake is great to have before and after a workout. I would take it as a post-workout supplement because your muscles have just broken down and need to be restored. It can also be used to substitute for a meal. Many people I know do this since they don’t have enough time to cook a proper meal. 12 grams of BCAAs are also included in the body fortress super advanced whey protein powder. If you ask me, that’s more than enough.
It also contains creatine and amino acids, which help muscles recover faster. I appreciate the fact that it has it because other protein powders lack creatine. You would have to purchase another container of creatine, which would be really expensive. Chocolate peanut butter is another chocolate flavour available, and it is as delicious. This chocolate whey protein powder is one you should certainly try.
OPTIMUM NUTRITION GOLD STANDARD 100%WHEY PROTEIN POWDER
If you go to the gym, you are probably familiar with the gold standard. It is hands down the greatest protein powder on the market. It has been the number one bestseller protein powder for quite some time now. That is why I had to include it in my chocolate whey protein powders list. Optimum nutrition gold standard 100% whey protein powder is available in a variety of chocolate flavours. I’m honestly surprised at how many chocolate flavours it contains.
This chocolate protein powder is made out of a whey blend with 24 grams of protein per serving. Although it does not contain as much protein as the body fortress super advanced whey protein powder, it is still highly effective. It also has 5 grams of BCAAs and 4 grams of carbohydrates in it. Just like any other protein powder, it is gluten-free. This is a protein powder that you should absolutely try.
This protein powder can be consumed at any time of day. Based on my personal experience, I would suggest drinking it after an exercise. I prefer to consume any type of protein smoothie after a workout. This is because your muscles need to be fed after the gym and what better way to feed it than to drink protein shakes.
MUSCLE MILK 100% WHEY PROTEIN POWDER
Another wonderful chocolate whey protein powder to ingest is the muscle milk 100 percent whey protein powder. It contains 25 grams of protein, which is more than enough to help you get the body of your dreams. It’s also a chocolate whey protein powder that’s not as well-known but still quite effective. This only goes to illustrate how many different protein powders are available. The quick-release of protein distinguishes this chocolate whey protein powder from the competition.
There are just two varieties of chocolate flavours available in muscle milk 100 percent whey protein powder. Chocolate and chocolate with probiotics are among them. As wonderful as it is, I would not recommend this protein powder to you. I would recommend the body fortress super advanced whey protein powder or the optimum nutrition gold standard 100 percent whey protein powder.
If you want to get the most out of this chocolate whey protein powder, I recommend mixing it with milk. It is called muscle milk 100 percent whey protein for a reason. You can also drink it with water, but you will miss out on the whole flavour experience.
BODYBUILDING SIGNATURE 100% WHEY PROTEIN POWDER
Finally, there’s the bodybuilding signature 100% whey protein powder. This chocolate whey protein powder has 25 grams of protein per serving and comes in a 67-serving container. This will last you more than a month, so it is a good investment. It helps muscles recuperate after a tough workout by building muscle. It is something I would recommend to anyone looking to bulk up. It will, without a doubt, complete the task.
This protein powder is just great because it is easy to digest. We all want to eat and drink things that aren’t going to make us sick. We don’t want to waste the entire day in the toilet, so we are quite careful about what we eat. I can assure you that this chocolate whey protein powder is completely safe to consume. I can attest to the fact that this protein drink is beneficial to your health based on my own personal experiences. It is also quite delicious.
This chocolate protein powder is ideal for the morning since it contains the ideal combination of proteins and digestive enzymes. It is also a good idea to consume it in between meals and after an exercise. This protein powder is ideal for those who have a sweet craving.
IMPROVE YOUR HEALTH
You can now satisfy your chocolate cravings with the best chocolate whey protein powders on the market. It’s always wonderful to ingest anything that will give you long-term benefits. Protein shakes will help you achieve this goal. If you haven’t tried protein shakes yet, I recommend that you do so right now. I am confident that you will be delighted with the outcome. If you have any questions, please feel free to leave them in the comments section and I will be sure to get back to you as soon as I can.
I’ve been looking for a good protein shake. I am curious if this one has a chalky taste. I have a hard time drinking them when they taste like chalk or leave a bunch of stuff at the bottom of the shake. 60 grams of protein is a lot! That would be perfect for me. The price is not bad for a 5 pound bag. I usually do not buy that big of a quantity. Now if I like it and it’s not chalky, then perfect!
Believe me, it is not chalky at all! I can promise you that you will be pleased with the taste. I would advise that you go for the 5-pound bag. It will last you for a while and it is affordable.
I appreciate the comparison between these three protein products and your recommendation as to which you feel is the best one. Consuming the right amount of protein is necessary to good health, whether or not a person works out and I know many people who use these types of shakes as a meal replacement, to recover from illness or to gain weight.
I am curious as to why you recommend the body fortress super advanced whey protein powder over muscle milk?
It’s simply because of the protein it contains. It contains more protein than muscle milk so that is why I recommended it.
Hi Daniel,
Thank you for your detailed and interesting article.
Best wishes,
Delroy M.
Thank you, enjoy your day.
This is another quality article. Though I am not used to chocolate shakes, but the presentation here makes me wonder. My question is the way you have presented them is it in order of their importance? For instance should I want to start now should I start with CHOCOLATE WHEY PROTEIN POWDER ? Which one of them will be most beneficial in terms of protein?
No not at all, it is not in order of importance. It is completely random. I would suggest that you go for the gold standard as it is the best-selling protein shake.
Thank you for the review on the Premium Protein Shakes, Daniel. For a premium product I find the prices to be reasonable. I will try it out for the health benefits, though I do not like the protein taste usually. Possibility is that since this is a premium protein, it may not have the weird taste of protein powder that is sold in the pharmacies.
Will you recommend the Protein shake to replace the morning coffee? I know the health benefits of Protein, but can it give the refreshing feeling of coffee in the morning?
I will try out the Gold standard Chocolate protein after exercise in the evening. Will check out, if it can substitute my morning coffee later.
Ernest
One hundred percent. It is actually perfect that you replace your protein shakes with your coffee. It will provide you with all the energy you need to tackle the day. The gold standard is a perfect choice.
Hi Daniel, nice article on one of my favorite things… Chocolate Protein Shakes. I must admit I use protein shakes pretty regularly, often as a meal replacement when I’m super busy .
Your review of the Body Fortress Super Advanced Whey Protein Powder certainly got my attention! Being able to get 60gms of protein in one serving is an absolute bonus to the fact that this is a chocolate shake! Thanks for the link, I am certainly going to check this out!
Thank you for your feedback. I truly appreciate it!
A good protein shake is a plus to fit our needs! I have used muscle milk in the past, took a couple of shakes to get used to the taste. Wish they would make these shakes in more flavors besides Chocolate or Vanilla! The Optimum Nutrition shake wanted to try but never did because I good only find it in chocolate. Overall great article and sharing information about muscle shakes. I would love to share your blog review with my social media followers and friends!
I would appreciate that so much! Please do that. Thank you so much for your feedback.
I’m a chocolate fan, and that’s one of the main reasons I love gold standard protein shakes. There are several options to choose from and avoid getting bored of drinking the same flavor every day.
I’m lactose intolerant, so I’m wondering whether it should be a good idea to try the Muscle Milk 100%. Would it taste good with, let’s say almond or coconut milk?
Thanks for sharing this amazing stuff. I will bookmark this for future reference.
I would advice that you stay away from the muscle milk 100% since you are lactose intolerant. Rather try out the gold standard.
Posting on protein shakes is great.
Content is very well written and detailed explanations are given about the product.
I would definitely give it a try as I love Protein shakes with chocolate flavours.
Helpful information and all headings are well-placed steps by step and content are also relevant to the subject.
Brillant post Keep it up
Thanks
Sachin
Do give it a try! I am sure that you will absolutely love it.
I love chocolate protein shakes and so does my husband, so I am on the hunt to find him a good protein powder because he is trying to gain weight (unlike myself) and needs something with a good amount of protein count. I may just go with the body building protein powder because I love the body building brand and also, I just learned from here that this protein powder is easier on the stomach. And you can’t wrong with that. I like the body fortress too, but I don’t know how well his stomach will take creatine being added to his protein powder since he has a sensitive stomach. Thank you for this great review, you really helped us out a lot.
I would you advise that you start out with the body building protein powder since he wants to gain weight. Be sure to let me know how it goes.
